Turnbull Promotes Two Employees to Officer Level

Bloomfield N.Y. – Doug Turnbull Restoration Inc. has made some organizational changes within the company to support the company’s growth and business development plans.

Keith VanOrman has been promoted from general manager to company president. In this role, he is responsible for the daily operations of the business, sales, expanding manufacturer relationships and growing the business. VanOrman will also have oversight of human resources and finance functions.

From a business development perspective, VanOrman will expand the gun restoration operations to meet increased customer demand, cultivate new products and markets in collaboration with their firearms manufacturing clients, and oversee the expansion of the Doug Turnbull Restoration facilities in Bloomfield. He will continue to have active participation in trade shows and special customer events throughout North America.

“During his tenure here, Keith has been instrumental in developing relationships with many of the large gun manufacturers who we collaborate with on special edition firearms,” said CEO Doug Turnbull. “Keith’s expertise in manufacturing operations and efficiency has been a tremendous asset to our company and will help ensure our future growth.”

VanOrman has been with Doug Turnbull Restoration for six years. Prior to that, he has provided highly measurable contributions for various manufacturing firms for over 25 years, with experience in machining, production scheduling, special projects coordination, business operations and customer service.

Christine Nelson has been promoted to the role of corporate secretary. She will be responsible for the oversight of administrative duties, banking, insurance and accounting functions. Nelson earned a master’s degree in education and has many years experience as an office manager.
