Description : This third model Winchester 1873 is chambered in 22 Short and has undergone a complete restoration & upgrade. This rifle is the perfect example of a “custom rifle” built using an original rifle as a foundation and adding upgrade items such as fancy wood, checkering & engraving & gold inlay work.
The engraving pattern is based on a Winchester factory # 9 pattern. The Native American theme is done with flush gold inlay work. The level of detail in the receiver inlays is incredibly fine. The gold bands on the hammer, lever, barrel breech, and butt plate are based on an original Native American design. The stocks are 3X fancy American Black Walnut with E-pattern checkering
