Description : Starting with a standard rifle this Model 1886 has undergone a complete restoration and upgrade.  The rifle has been converted to a take-down frame as well as being converted to a pistol grip.  The new barrel is a 22" half round, half octagon chambered for 45-70 WCF.  The stocks are new made from a stunning piece of  3X feather crotch American Black Walnut.  The checkering pattern is an original factory F-pattern.  The engraving pattern is a factory #3 pattern with gold wire inlay and gold inlayed & engraved animals.
